Infectious Disease
IHC’s clinical staff of researchers is comprised of experts in many different therapeutic areas, including Vascular and Infectious Disease.
Our clinical researchers are from top Pharmaceutical and CRO organizations providing the highest quality study management, monitoring and data management services.
Some Examples of Infectious Disease Studies:
- Pelvic Inflammatory Disease – completion of a 3000 patient woman’s health initiative with over 150 centers in the US. This trial involved top infectious disease physicians and institutions and was published in Epidemiology. Our management team also formulated the Advisory Board and the FDA Blue Ribbon Panel to support this program.
- Candidiasis – multiple trials (Phase II – IV) involving numerous anti-fungal drugs, including the Gyne-Lotrimin® switch.
- Duodenal Ulcers – studies involving H. pylori assessment.
- Chlamydia Trachomatis, Helicobacter Pylori and Clostridium Difficile – studies involving a new class of antimicrobial agents for the treatment and eradication of these pathogens. IHC is responsible for all project management, monitoring, data input, analysis, and cleaning; as well as all regulatory management for multiple major clinical programs for a new class of antimicrobial agents. This agent targets and inhibits the transcriptional machinery of bacteria.
